Gravity and Electro-Magnetism
Question:
What is the electromagnitic frequency of gravity?
Answer:
Gravity does not seem to be a manifestation of electromagnetism,
so there is not some piece of the electromagnetic spectrum that
is associated with gravity. There do seem to be gravity waves
which propagate through space analogous to electromagnetic waves.
There is some evidence of gravitons, analogous to photons of
electromagnetic energy. These phenomena do not mean that gravity
and electromagnetism are the same thing however. Gravitational
forces are enormously weaker than electro-magnetic forces, so
much so that it takes an object the size of Mars to make a pound
of butter weight 8 ounces.
